Get Involved!

Now more than ever, we need your volunteer assistance and support to help us expand our “B.A.C.K. Packets” program across the nation.

As 2011 comes to a close, we now have this initiative of reaching out to children in crisis in 10 states and trying to meet the demands for this program as it expands throughout the United States. We are currently in over 8,000 squads cars across 10 states but we have another 2,000+ vehicles waiting to implement the program in their community. To fulfill those commitments and to continue to provide this tool to officers and first responders we need your help.

There are many ways to get involved with REACH a Child and help put a smile on the face of a child in crisis:

1) You could approach your employer and ask if they would be interested in doing a Companywide book drive or fund raising event. (Book Drive 101)

2) You could contact one of your children’s Coaches and see if some of the kids would like to do a 2 to 4 hour service project where they would come to one of our warehouses and stamp, sticker and sort the Children’s books.

3) You could tell your Middle School or Elementary Teacher(s) about the “Rock-N-Read” program and see if they would like to get involved. (Rock-N-Read)

4) You could give a Tribute Gift in “Honor of Someone you Know” or for a “Special Anniversary Occasion” to R.E.A.C.H. a Child and we will send out a card to that person showing that you have given a gift on their behalf that would help reach out to _____ Children in Crisis. A $25.00 gift would bring 5 Children in Crisis a book; a $50.00 gift would supply 10 Children in Crisis with a book and so on. (Tribute Gifts)

5) You could invite us to your Service Club meeting(s) or Church Service and have us speak to your group about the REACH a Child program in your area and help us grow into other communities as well.

6) You and your friends could help out by participating in any upcoming events posted on the website.

Our major goal is to support our current and future programs through the efforts of volunteers like you. So get involved today and help us “Put a smile on the face of a child in the time of need” in your community!
